Frequently Asked Questions

What is the booking process?

Simple!

1) Contact us to see if your wedding date/time are available

2) Send us the requested info to create our wedding agreement (legal names, emails, phone numbers, venue address).

3) Officiant will email you a contract for e-signature, and click to sign!

4) Once the signed wedding contract has been returned along with the non-refundable retainer (50% of package price), the booking will be complete!

What can we expect when working with you?

Once our booking process is complete, I send my couples a welcome email that includes the couple’s questionnaire that will be used for writing the ceremony script as well as information for booking a zoom Meet & Greet with your Officiant.

During our zooms, we’ll talk about the specifics of your package, what you want included in your ceremony, the tone/vibe you’re looking for and of course…we talk about your love story!

I work closely with my couples to ensure their ceremony includes all the elements they are looking for and captures your personalities just right.

And come wedding day, I put on a show for you and your guests! We’ll have so much fun!

Are you available for last minute weddings?

Yes! As long as I am available, you can book me in as little as two hours of your wedding ceremony. I love last-minute weddings!

Do you perform religious or non-religious ceremonies?

Both! I offer both secular or religious ceremonies. Most of the times it’s a mix of both (some mention of God but not ultra-religious). The ceremony will be whatever you prefer as a couple! Your wedding, your way!

Do you write personalized wedding scripts or use pre-scripted ceremonies?

Both! I have multiple wedding packages to accommodate different degrees of personalized touches to your wedding ceremony in either the “Minimony” or “Bells and Whistles” ceremony packages.

Do you offer ceremonies to same-sex couples?

Absolutely! I believe love is love is love and I am delighted to help ANY two people make their unions legal as long as they are truly in love!

Are you willing to travel long distances?

As long as I am available, I am willing to travel within NC to perform the ceremony where the couple wishes. Your wedding, your way!
*Additional travel fees may apply.

How early does the Officiant arrive at the ceremony?

I will typically arrive 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to your wedding ceremony. For last minute elopements...the couple and I will agree on a time to meet asap.

Do we write our own vows or use traditional vows?

Totally up to you (the couple)! The vows can be as traditional or as personal as the couple wishes. I have several scripts to choose from or you can write your own. Your wedding, your way!

How long are your ceremonies?

Ceremonies can range anywhere from 5-30 minutes depending on the different elements the couple would like to include in their wedding ceremony.

Do you require premarital counseling?

No. However, if the couple would like to have premarital counseling prior to the ceremony, I can refer several amazing ministers/counselors that specialize in premarital counseling.

Do you offer rehearsals?

Yes! The “Bells and Whistles” package includes the option for rehearsal- via Zoom or in-person. *Availability may vary and an additional rehearsal or travel fee may be applied.

What is the Officiant’s attire for the wedding?

I am willing to accommodate to the couple’s style and vibe of the wedding as much as possible- I have several suits, jumpsuits, dresses, colors to choose from and will try to match your wishes as much as possible. Your wedding, your way!
